Meet Isabella
Meet Isabella - a very special, beautiful young girl. Isabella's story is a sad one, but you'd never know it by looking at her. Isabella was rescued from an unlikely place, Bosnia. She was one of thousands of homeless dogs, and she was missing a foot. But her spirit was amazing, and we had to help her, in memory of another dog whom we sadly could not help.
Isabella is one of those dogs that is so easy to fall in love with. Anyone who has met her, has loved her for her gentle, humble, playful nature and the spirit that refuses to even notice her disability.
Isabella is currently fostered, while we are researching a possible prosthetic foot. If you'd like to apply to adopt Isabella, please fill out an application at midwestwheatenrescue.org
