Izzy is as loving as she is unique looking!
Izzy is a happy and playful dog. She is close to overcoming her separation anxiety and has done well being left alone in a crate for limited amounts of time. Izzy would do best in a home with another easy-going confident dog. Currently Izzy is on a stable anti anxiety medication regiment, we hope in her furever home her medication can be reduced and possibly eliminated. Her doggie daycare exercise routine along with medication works wonders with her ability to self regulate and gain confidence, as we have seen her blossom with this combination!
Izzy knows her basic commands, and happily shows off ‘sit’ and ‘down’ for treats, as well as coming when called! Basic obedience classes would be recommended in order for her to reach her full potential, as she loves to learn. Izzy comes with 6 months of FREE doggie daycare at Northwest Kennels, to help her adjust to her new home while providing a sense of familiarity and routine!
Izzy is a non discriminating human lover! She is good with men, females, and dog educated kids, but new people need to go slow and let Izzy come to them. This girl loves to cuddle, play with toys, and does great with car rides. She is treat motivated and walks great on a leash!!
Izzy has a strong prey drive, while there hasn’t been a bad interaction with little dogs, we recommend a small dog/small animal free home.
