Hey, hey, hey my name is Axel and I am your typical goofy lab boy. I am a big boy (~90) and look great since AARF rescued me (a few pounds slimmer) . I love being around my people and going for walks.

I'm a changed dog from the scared dog when I got out of the pound. I'm not protective of food any more. I've even shared treats with other dogs. I'm used to the cats now. They walk in front of me and don't run away. The only place where I'm still nervous and bark a lot is at the dog stand. There is just so much excitement that I can't contain myself. I just want to play and sniff all the dogs so I do bark.
