Avielle Richman (named for one of the victims of the Newtown, CT shooting) was rescued in southern VA, but didn’t find her new home there. Luckily, Avielle Richman was rescued through the 26 Acts Of Kindness sponsored by Little Rascals Doggie Day Care and Boarding.

She was living in a pen with many other dogs. She was susceptible to the elements. During April showers, she lived in mud. In the winters, she lived in snow and ice. She has never had her own soft bed or food bowl. Often, she didn't even get good food or fresh water on a daily basis. She was getting very little exercise.

This girl is a sweetheart who is well past the chewing phase. She is affectionate and likes people. Avielle Richman will need some help with housetraining because she's never lived indoors. She'd like to find a person or family who would take her on nice walks and let her sleep in a soft bed (maybe even in their bed). Avielle Richman is very social and gets along with other dogs.

The adoption fee for this dog is $325, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. Our adult animal fees range and are based on: fees we pay to shelters, vetting costs, transport costs, and boarding costs.
