Meet Mooby

Talk about a delightful litter of pups! Mama came to us very pregnant and gave birth to TEN pups on 12-11-12 via c-section. Mom is a beagle and dad is an English foxhound per a DNA test. Beagles are 20-30 lbs. while foxhounds are 50-60 lbs. These pups size as adults could be anywhere in that range. They've been in a foster home since birth.

Foster mom has this to say about Mooby: A clever little guy who loves the toys. When the other pups were frightened by the squeaker toy, he came running. He had the squeaker removed in no time and then trotted around with the dead lamb toy inviting the others to try and take it away.

These dogs are going to be high energy given their breeds. Mom is a very mellow beagle and has a wonderful temperment. She's been a great mom to this very large litter of babes. They are not at the shelter yet but will be soon. We are accepting applications and hope to have room at the shelter by this coming week. Adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter and initial vaccine and deworming.
