Ted Maltese & Shih Tzu Mix Chicago, IL

Ted is a playful, fun and wiggly, one-year-old, nine-pound, male, white, Maltese/Shih Tzu-mix looking for a loving guardian. Ted loves to play with other dogs, dancing for treats, and going on walks. He would be happy in a home where someone has time to train, exercise and adore him. Ted’s previous owners neglected him and then abandoned him at an open access shelter. He needs a loving home where he will receive lots of TLC and attention so that he can learn to trust again. In spite of his rough start, he is very, very sweet and likes cats, too! 
Ted will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. The family that had him for his first year never had him groomed and he was a matted mess when he came in. His feet and area around his eyes are still stained but will whiten up with better grooming and a healthy diet. 
Ted is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and heartworm-tested.
