Bailey Weimaraner West Olive, MI

Bailey is a gorgeous, blue 7- year-old, female Weim with just a hint of gray on her muzzle. She weighs approximately 80 pounds and is muscular in appearance.
Bailey is super sweet and friendly and always wags her tail in greeting and she gets along well with other dogs. She walks nicely on her leash and knows the commands sit, down, and no. Bailey is very strong willed, but also very sweet which can be deceptive. She needs a firm leader who can establish authority as the pack leader. She needs to know that you are in control or she will take advantage of you and the situation.

Bailey will guard any item in her possession. Once she has it she believes it is hers to keep and she will not give it up gracefully. She does not do this in her foster home because her foster mom will not allow it. This is where a strong pack leader comes in handy! It will take time and consistency to break her of the habit, but it can be done.

Bailey likes children, but needs to live in an adult only home because of her guarding. Bailey is a wonderful, sweet, loving Weim that deserves a great forever home, but she is not for the inexperienced owner because she needs a firm leader.
