Babs Pug Mix Cincinnati, OH

Babs is an older pug - we don't know exactly how old, as her arthritis and back issues probably make her seem older than she is.  She has 3-4 compressed discs as well as arthritis in her hips and hind legs.  She walks but carries herself hunched over.  She has been started on anti-inflammatories to try to give her some relief.  Despite her back issues, she is a super sweet girl.  Her foster mom said she has quickly become her shadow, following her everywhere.  She's been fine with the other dogs and cats she has met in her foster home. Babs is not housetrained or crate-trained right now.  Her adopter will need to be prepared to work with Babs to get her there.  Since we don't know her history, we don't know what she has been through to get her to this point.  Babs is looking for a special home that will understand and help her as she adjusts to her new life.

We do not adopt outside our area, which we define as two hours drive time from downtown Cincinnati (zip code 45202 - use Google Maps to determine if you are within our area). We do not have a shelter or facility - all of our dogs live in volunteer foster homes. We introduce our dogs to potential adopters at our weekend adoption events posted on our website.
