Meet Sally
Â
UPDATE: Sally is dog selective meaning she will need to meet any dogs your family may have first to make sure they get along. Sally has never shown any aggression just tends to be a little bossy with some dogs. She seems to be okay with cats. Also, Sally cannot be kenneled due to her arthritis. We have noticed she stiffens up if put in a kennel. She's an old soul. Â
Hello, my name is Sally. I'm a sweet, spunky girl that has known nothing but love and kindness my whole life. I have been spoiled and well taken care for 10 plus years. I have always considered myself one of the lucky ones. My daddy adopted me from a high kill shelter when I was just 16 weeks old. I have been with him ever since. Well a few weeks ago my daddy was taken to the hospital because of his heart. He told me and my sister that he loved us and would be back. We waited for a long time and would have waited forever, but unfortunately his heart stopped beating. I think part of me died that day too. The lady that would come over every week to help care for him stopped by and picked us up. She said that she would make sure we found a new home. I can't believe that I'm having to worry about finding a home at my age. I should be laying around enjoying my golden years. Do you have room for me? I promise I won't be any trouble.
If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet senior, please email me at angelsleftbehind@yahoo.com or call me at 816-506-0378. Sally is about 11 years old, but has the spirit of a puppy. Sally is now in a kennel environment and isn't handling it very well. She has spent her whole life laying beside her daddy and doesn't belong in a kennel. Unfortunately we don't have any available foster homes right now.
Foster homes are always needed.
