Mac Bichon Frise Madison, WI

Mac was born around 1/2009 and has been with our rescue since 12/2012.  This 15# pooch was found as a stray and transferred from another rescue.  When he arrived to our shelter he was in need of a teeth cleaning and that has since been done, he's received a clean bill of health, and now is ready to find a new home.


Mac is a quiet pooch that would do well in most homes.  He has a lower energy requirement and while he enjoys daily walks, is most content snuggling with his owner and napping on a soft blanket.  Mac is cautious around new people but it doesn't take long for him to quietly sneak up and sit next to them asking for attention.  He tolerates well the pinching and pulling of toddlers and when he's had enough will find a quiet corner to hide in.  Mac casually sniffs the cats and dogs as the shelter but doesn't pay much attention to either.  He would do well in a home with dogs and cats as long as they don't pick on him and constantly bug him to play.  Mac is crate trained but we don't know if he is housebroke.  His adoption fee is $370.





Adoption Information:


Adoption clinics are held every Saturday from 10am – 2pm at PetsMart, 2216 E. Springs Drive. Most of our available dogs can be visited at that time. Our dogs have all been spay/neuter, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. We take care of any veterinary care prior to adoption. We offer a $25 rebate to adopters who complete a training class and send in proof of completion within 4 months of adoption.


Adoption Fees:
For dogs and puppies range from $238 to $500 depending on the animal.
