Meet Wyatt UPDATE URGENT

**THIS PET IS AT THE SHELTER**

3/4/13 We really need to be finding Wyatt his forever home! He is been lucky so far but it won't be long before we are faced with having to make a decision non of us feel we should make for a healthy and good boy. He gets along with other dogs. We re introduced him to the office kitty and he again just wanted to check the cat. He takes several smells of the kitty and then wants to look all over at everything else and then back to check out the kitty. The kitty wasn't too happy about being sniffed so she gave a few good swipes and Wyatt just backed off and then tried again to check her out and she swiped again. So he does not show any signs what so ever that he will want to hurt a cat. He is just curious. With being cooped up in a kennel for so long his energy level has increased but once he gets out and walks he settles down fairly quick. Why is such a wonderful boy still at the shelter? He is a good boy and very good looking too! Please give Wyatt a chance to have a wonderful family that he has never got a chance to have. Come out and meet Wyatt today and give him a chance at life.

UPDATE: We took "Wyatt" for a walk yesterday along with another dog and he did great. They just walked along side each other and Wyatt wanted to play with the other dog and gave some kisses too. He also is very curious about the cats and wanted to chase them. He is just a wonderful boy that is desperate to get out of the shelter by way of a loving family to care for him.

2/4/13 "Wyatt" is coming up to a month being here at the shelter. He is a wonderful boy. He knows the routine very well now and goes where he needs to be with out any problems. He also LOVES his toys. This poor guy was kept in a small cage (that a Beagle would fit in) before coming to the shelter. Even though he is now in a big run, it is still a cage! He is too sweet of a boy to be passed up because he may have pit in him. He is gentle with those who volunteer at the shelter and has won all our hearts. He never causes any trouble. He is just tired of being caged up day after day after day. He is not a very strong dog that would over power you. He is young and wants to get out and go but when he is out on a leash he does settle down once he is out a bit. He is maybe around 50-55 lbs.  Please come out and meet "Wyatt" to see how great of a companion he would be for your family.

1/14/13 We are calling this good looking boy "Wyatt". He was brought in to the shelter after his owner left him behind when they moved out. He is around  a year old. He is full of energy and loves to play. He is a very sweet boy and gets along with everyone! Go to www.secondchanceforpets.com to fill out a application if interested in "Wyatt"
