Jack Sparrow Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Papillon Mix Etobicoke, ON

Jack Sparrow is much like his pirate name sake!  Devilishly handsome, lots of fun to be with, and very playful!  Jack has come a long way in the short time he has been in our foster home.  Jack only ate canned food when he arrived but has now transitioned to a high quality kibble and is starting to gain some much needed weight. 

His very favourite past time is playing with his dog friends.  He has boundless energy and sometimes tires out his pals!  The cats in the home are dog smart so when Jack chases them they are quick to correct him and he will respect that.

He probably would not do well with a cat that is not used to dogs.

Jack has learned to sit since arriving and comes when called from our fenced yard.

He can be quite vocal at times, when company arrives or when he sees another dog on his walks.  Squirrels are very exciting to bark at too! He walks well with a martingale collar.

Jack still needs a little help with his house training.  He is easily distracted by his friends when he goes out in the yard, so sometimes needs a "time out" from playing to remember to do his personal business.  He does get out many times during the day currently so would benefit from having a dog walker if being left for any length of time or doggie day care would be great for him.

He is no longer crated and sleeps on any of the dog beds available or hops up onto the couch or easy chair.  He loves to curl up beside us, especially with his foster dad.  He is very affectionate and will seek out your company. There is a large toy box available to he and his pals and delights in playing with each and every one of them!

Jack is a sweet boy who deserves a new family to cherish and love him.
