Hi there! My name is Willow and I am so very glad that you stopped by to visit my page! Please let me share a little bit about myself so that we can get to know each other better!


I am a 6 year old female Pointer/Beagle mix who sadly found myself and my litter mates and my mom at the Genesee County Animal Shelter when our owner lost our home and had to enter a homeless shelter herself just after Christmas. Because we're not "puppies" and the shelter said they needed space for incoming dogs, my siblings and my mom and I were scheduled to be put to sleep. I don't even want to think about that anymore as it was such a terrifying time for me and my family - THANKFULLY the awesome volunteers at NBS Animal Rescue and Last Chance Rescue came to our rescue and saved our lives. We're all now in safe, loving, warm foster homes and are getting the proper care and affection that we deserve. 


My foster mom says that I am a sweet, shy, kind hearted, loving dog who enjoys getting pet gently and learning new things. I'm really smart! I'm housetrained, I know how to sit and sit pretty for treats, and I almost have shake down too! I'm good with other dogs who are friendly and mellow, and I like meeting new people who are soft spoken, have a gentle kind touch, and of course - a yummy treat always helps! =)  I was a very good girl at the doggy spa today - I got a bath, a pawdicure, let the kind lady who donated our grooming clean out both of my floppy ears, and I didn't even mind the blow dryer! I'm just so thankful to everyone who helped me and my family find safety - now we're looking for our fur-ever homes - could it be with you?


My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today! Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
