Name: Zolo    Breed: American Pitt Bull Terrier Mix

Approximate Age: 1 year

Approximate Weight: 53 pounds

Currently Living at: DC-area boarding facility. Please adopt Zolo!

Zolo is a very sweet lovebug that is looking for his forever home. He is about one year-old and weighs approximately 53 pounds. He does well with other dogs and children, but since he is living with a boarding partner he hasn't been Lucky Dog tested with kitties. However, ask and we can try to find out!  

Zolo is an energetic pup and enjoys playing with other dogs and toys. He's already a big boy and we anticipate he will gain even more weight, so training is an absolute must. He will need a patient family that can teach him what's expected of him through positive reinforcement. This will not only let him know what you expect of him, but it will also provide mental stimulation. He has already learned a few basic commands such as 'sit' and he can even shake! Zolo also enjoys spending time with his people and loves to curl up on your lap even though he is a bit too big. :) Since he is a pittie mix he will need to go to a home in a city/county without bully breed restrictions.


Like most shelter dogs, Zolo may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
