 KELLY is a beautiful, brindle, 42 lb., young adult, Pit Bull Terrier/Hound mix. She is a happy go lucky girl, and is looking for her perfect forever home and family. Kelly was rescued from a high kill shelter on her last day, she was out of time due to over crowding. When we received the call letting us know about Kelly and that her situation was urgent we were on our way with in minutes to help!!! Kelly was a very sad girl when we first met her, but all of that has changed as love cures a great deal, she is healthy and happy and now just wants a family to call her own. Kelly is very intelligent, knows several hand signal commands (watch her video!) and listens very well. She is calm and extremely well behaved. and looks to her person for direction, she is a dog that has excelled at her obedience training classes at an advanced level. Kelly loves to be involved in whatever is going on, so a family that likes to run or hike, that would include her in daily outings and activities would be perfect for her. Kelly is selective about her dogs friends, she needs some direction and socialization with other dogs, again an area that training or an experienced owner could help her with. She would also do well as an only pup, as she LOVES people. Kelly is also a terrific snuggler, she loves to hang out with you or sit next to you on the sofa, just an all around sweet girl, and super cute too!  In her foster home she is beautifully behaved, house trained and a pup who is respectful of her surroundings. She knows what things are hers to play with and things not to touch. She is a joy!! Kelly is spayed, she is current on all vaccinations including Bordetella and Rabies. She is heartworn negative and on preventative. Kelly is with her foster family in New England and may be visited before adopting. Her adoption fee is $450.
