Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute Mix: An adopted dog in Washington Crossing, PA
SHEP is currently in foster care. He was an urgent pull because the shelter was out of space. SHEP's foster parents are finding him to be very loveable and sweet in the household. SHEP is housebroken. When you leave him alone, he waits for you by the door but is well behaved in the home and does not destroy anything. SHEP is approximately between 1-2 years old.
SHEP can be seen on video at our website www.focusonhomelessanimals.org being trained by Michael Badial and Jamie Rhoads of Best Paw Forward. In this small clip, SHEP is being introduced to different dogs. SHEP is going to need some additional training when walking outside. He is very intelligent and would do best with a young person or is active and likes to go for long walks. Training must be continued but it is not difficult you just have to be consistent. SHEP weighs about 35lbs-40lb...
