Chinchilla: An adopted chinchilla in Avondale, LA
Cheech and Josephina came to us from Houston were they were used for breeding until they stopped producing. They were not in very good condition. Cheech has been neutered so that they can stay together. He has a crinkled ear. Josephina's fur was badly matted and she was extremely shy. Cheech has learned to love being scritched while Josephina is slowly adapting. She will take an oat or a chew stick from my hand. She will need time in a loving home to become more trusting. She does not spray or bite. They will be available for adoption in Feb 2013 after their pregnancy watch is over.
An approved cage and exercise wheel are required and a donation of $150 is requested as an adoption fee. A sleep tube, hammock, hidey house, hay bin, dust bath, toys and more are included. For more...
