Meet Scout

Hi, I'm Scout!  I am so grateful to ROAR for rescuing me! I was surrendered by my previous owners, but I don't know why. I became very scared in the shelter, but now I am much happier and I am hoping that I find a forever home that can give me lots of love. My foster family would tell you that I am a great "little" dog, but I think I am much bigger than I am (I am only 14 pounds and I am full grown)! I love kids and my favorite thing to do is to be outside, running around the yard and playing with my foster sister (8) and brother (4). I definitely would need a fenced in back yard to run around in.

I am also a big snuggler and a lover! I love to snuggle with my foster family on the coach or under the blankets with them. I give lots of kisses when I get love and attention. I live with two older dogs, but I think I might do best in a home where I am the only dog (that's because I am the king!). I still like other dogs though; my foster mom sometimes sends me to doggie daycare so I can burn off a little energy during the day and I have made great doggie friends there. The girls at doggie day care love me too! My foster mom also sent me for some dog training and with just a little work, I am sure to be perfect!

I am still a little afraid of meeting people for the first time. People want to come up to me and pet me or even hold me, but I prefer to go to them when I am comfortable. Once I know that I can trust you, my nervousness goes away. Give me one day with your family and you will love me! If you want to know about me, just send in an application and my foster mom will be happy tell you more!
