Buck is currently in foster care at Beach Paws and loves playing everyday with all the wonderful dogs.  If interested in meeting Buck the shelter can arrange a meet and greet.  Buck came to the shelter Dec. 5th after somebody called animal control and said they had seen him wandering in the area of Windy Point  for 2 weeks.  How sad!   He is pretty skinny right now but he is a really sweet dog and walks great on a leash.  He knows how to "sit" and "down" and is anxious to learn more!  GREAT dog who is getting better everyday.He love kids and other dogs. Please consider the cost and time involved in adding a dog to your family.  They need lots of time, patience, good food and medical care.  Flea and tick prevention is very important along with heartworm prevention.  Heartworms can be fatal if not treated but easily prevented with a once a month preventative.  This is an awesome dog and he deserves an awesome home.  

There is special paper work that will need to be completed prior to adopting  Buck.  We love all of our dogs and want to make sure our "bully breeds" go to homes best suited for them.  Up date: Buck tested positive for heart worms and has been started on the "slow kill" method of getting a onnce a month heart worm prevention.  Typically within 2 years he should test negative.

The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-2, and on Sunday during the spring and summer from 11-3.  Adopt a homeless pet and save a life.  If you can not adopt come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home.
