Meet Roy Brown (bonded pair with a littermate)

You only see a couple of these self-brown kitties in a lifetime: Havana Brown look-alike with brown whiskers! Roy's littermate is Gigi, who is also "chocolate," but a longer-haired version with a smokey appearance.

We conduct our adoptions via a foster-to-adopt process. We try to adopt our rescues within close radius to us so we can be there if the adopter needs us for any reason.

Roy is strikingly handsome, with hard-to-find, solid chocolate brown color markings that are spontaneous. Roy loves to be held, and he likes classical music, as one would expect from an aristocat! Sometimes a black cat and a pointed Siamese cat will produce this spontaneous rare color gene phenomenon: rich color brown throughout which is a rare find indeed.

Roy sheds very little: he has few guard hairs, likened to the single coat of the Havana Browns. This breed likes to climb. Roy has a bit of an odd habit of chewing wood finials on antiques Just though I'd let you know. Perhaps he'll grow out of it one day?

Adoption fee for this purebred mix is $175, firm.
Healthy, happy, playful. Hand-raised underfoot in home-setting with parent on-site. Never caged! Healthy and loving.

Roy is very shy and retreating, and he will need to be the one to choose his people, rather than the other way around.
Roy with litter-mates Gigi or Mimi or Joey are the perfect bonded pairs, if you are looking to adopt a bonded pair.

Note: When you email inquire about Roy, you will receive a preliminary Cat Adoption Questionnaire. Tell us why you are the perfect family for Roy.

Existing cats within the home must be tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, must be up to date on vaccines, and must be spayed or neutered.

We try to stay in all of our adopters lives; therefore, we do not adopt out of state, nor do we ship cats, as we feel this is in the best interests of the cat.  Adoption will require check-points and a home check for her protection.
Note: we are not selling our rescue cats: nevertheless, there is an adoption fee: the funds are used to support all of our rescue pets. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption as each cat or kitten is vetted prior to adoption.
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, feline leukemia/FIV testing, distemper vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchipping, deworming, flea-free, grooming, and temperament assessment.
We reserve the right to deny any application, for any reason, without disclosure. A refusal does not represent any shortcoming of the applicant, but reflects our assessment that a particular pet would possibly not do well in the circumstances offered.
