LUCY Domestic Medium Hair & Tabby Mix San Pedro, CA

Lucy is very very shy, and will run if you try to pet her, though she will sneak up on the bed if you are sleeping so she can sit next to you. She loves to sit in the window and to play with balls, especially superballs. Lucy will grow on you slowly she is very sweet and needs a patient soul who can give her the time and attention she needs to become comfortable in her surroundings. She has bonded w/every foster kitty we have had so she must be adopted into a home with other friendly cats or adopted with her buddy,OREO- also on petfinder- who is being fostered with her currently. Lucy will absolutely NEED the company of another kitty(ies). She's is also okay with children and will not bother them-she simply will not seek their attention. Pretty Lucy was rescued from Devore when she was just 3 months old and ill. She was so frightened she would not come out from hiding to eat or get meds and as a result was very sick. Our foster OREO was able to help her adjust and help us help Lucy get well. She is now fully vetted and ready for a perfect forever home! We would LOVE to see her placed together with OREO or with one of our other fosters she has bonded with. This girl isn't what most people are LOOKING for, but rewards of gaining a shy kitty's trust truly is magical and her foster mom is working with her everyday to help her along.
