Gidget - IVDD Dachshund Las Vegas, NV

Gidget is one of the most precious creatures we have come across in rescue.  She is a gorgeous black and tan silver dapple, she has such an easy-going and sweet personality.  Gidget is also very playful and loyal.  She will follow you around the house just to be near you.  She is about 5 years old and weighs only 8 pounds.  She is a special needs girl due to a prior disc injury in her spine.  In fact, when Gidget walks she has a little wobble because of some weakness in her right rear leg.  This is not painful for her and it also doesn't slow her spirit down in the least!  However, she needs help to express her bladder (she is unable to empty her bladder completely on her own) and she has poop accidents (because she doesn't realize that she needs to poop until the poop is already coming).   She is recommended to a dachshund experienced home because of her prior history.
