Meet Apollo

Apollo is a very large gray/black/tan 4 year old Sheppard with soulful eyes and a gentle loving spirit. The poor thing was found wandering the coast guard base looking quite worse for wear including a wound on his back. Apollo is physically healing quite nicely but his heart is yearning for people to want him as part of their family. Apollo knows basic commands, is excellent at walking on a leash plus he is well mannered and calm; a really lovely boy. Apollo loves to chase balls being thrown and being chased by the thrower, really loves playing in the yard! Apollo would make a great family pet; he is a rare guy because he can go to a home with dogs and/or cats as well as children of all ages. Because he has a chronic skin issue, Apollo’s adoption fee is only $8. Would you make room in your home and heart big enough to handle all the love Apollo is willing to give?
