Buttercup is the mother of the eight "B" puppies.  She is probably a young adult and, at least partly a Beagle. She weighs about 38 lbs. Despite her foster's husband and grandson feeding her treats, Buttercup still can't seem to trust them.  She is NOT aggressive toward men.  She is frightened of them. She has been through a lot, and you have to wonder if abuse in her background is responsible for this.  Buttercup is waiting for just the right home now.  She has done a fine job protecting her litter, and she has now been spayed.  She's a good girl.  (posted 11/20/12, RH, N/A)
