"Hey there groovy people, I'm Jerry Garcia, a 2-3 year old Yellow Labrador blend brought from a high risk facility to the Delco SPCA safe haven. I'm one laid back, mellow fellow that hopes to find a dog-loving home to spoil me rotten. I love to "run, run, run for the roses" and would love a home with a fenced yard that I can run and play in all the time. I prefer to be your only pet child and could live with older children that want to help take care of me. Can you let me in your heart and home to sing the days away? The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed blend. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Our adoption requirements and a printable application form may be found here. All pets are altered, vaccinated and microchipped. Upon adoption you get a new leash and collar, 10 days of free post-adoption veterinary care at the Center and a complimentary vet visit at a local participating veterinarian. Plus unconditional staff love and support!
