Patches Australian Shepherd & Boykin Spaniel Mix Charlotte, NC

I am about 3 years old and I am just beautiful! I have a major issue however. My optic nerve doesn't translate to my brain correctly so I'm not sure what I see. As long as my foster mom has on jeans, I want to be her lap dog. If she puts on a dress or slacks, I'm don't know who she is. I stand back 10 feet and bark at her. Strangers scare me and I won't get close to anyone except my foster mom. I will be a long-term project for anyone but in time I can learn to trust a new person. I will have to have a playful doggie sibling (I love dogs and I'll need another dog for courage) and a fenced yard. I am fine with cats. I there a patient, understanding and compassionate person out there who would like to give me a forever home?
