Dundee Poodle & Dachshund Mix Vancouver, BC

We've had LOTS of applications submitted for the pups so we'll be making our matches this week. Thanks for the interest!


Dundee is one fun and playful little guy! Don't let his little size fool you - this guy is all about playing, playing, playing! Even at 12 weeks, he's the fastest, quickest to figure out things and generally the bravest of all his brothers to seek out new things, so he'd love a person or family who wants a little dog who can do everything a big dog can do (plus fit conveniently on your lap when the fun is over with and cuddle!) He'd be the puppy we'd be inclined to match with a family with kids who are old enough to participate in the care of a dog because we think he'd be able to keep up with them and would love to play with them;)


These pups can be viewed in their kennel at the shelter during adoption hours which are 12-6 weekdays, and 10-4 pm on weekends. Onvr  an applicant has been matched, they can  come down and "pick their puppy!" Applications are available at the shelter or via e-mail request at katie.ernst@vancouver.ca We are looking for people who have time in their lifestyle to accommodate the needs of pups this young as all they do is pee/poop, play, eat - then do it all over again! We would love to match them with homes that would take them to Puppy classes so they can grow up to be well mannered adult dogs!


Our adoption fee is $295 (including tax) for all dogs/puppies. Our sweet senior dogs (7+ year olds)  are $79 to adopt. ALL adoptions include the spay/neuter, vaccination, microchip and a free vet check! Hours for adoption viewings are Mon - Friday from noon until 6 pm, and Sat/Sun from 10 - 4 pm. Please be advised that most of our dogs are strays, so we typically do not have background history on them.
