HIGHWAY Labrador Retriever & Australian Shepherd Mix Tunica, MS

UPDATE 2-17-14: "Highway" recently had to be returned to our shelter. His family was going thru a very difficult time and having to spend a great deal of time at the hospital and at doctor appointments. There just wasn't anyone at home to spend time with this sweet dog so we welcomed him back with open arms. He has been struggling since he came back but he gets a little better each day. He has a new Sponsor Family and they came to visit him today. Thank you so much to his sponsor family for making Highway feel special today!!! It was just what he needed....He is READY for his new home. We think that since he is so strong and has so much energy that he would do best in a home with no children.

BEFORE I tell you all the neat things about Highway, I want to tell you about STUPID. If you are a jerk and want to move off and leave your sweet dog behind to fend for himself, you should really take the collar off the dog where you had your name and phone number engraved. Yes you poor excuse for a man, when we called you you denied leaving a dog behind but come on...ENGRAVED COLLAR you moron. So, I feel better. Got that off my chest. HIGHWAY is a beautiful, sweet, loyal, amazing boy with a naturally docked tail and eyes that will melt your heart. (if you have one that is).
