Frankie*a survivors story Terrier Mix Grass Valley, CA

      Frankie's story is one of victory over great injury. He is well on his way to recovering from the damage done by a previous owner. His spirit was not broken, his trust for people still strong. His sweet and kind nature shines through the muzzle he has to wear to support his broken jaw. His jaw is now repaired THANKS to all Frankie's angle friends who donated to his  extremely expensive medical cost. The amazing team at UCDAVIS dentistry and oral surgery service say's after 3 or 4 months of restricted oral activity ( soft foods, no chew toys, balls or sticks )  He'll be as good as new!



Frankie is all terrier, he want to chase bunny's , play with toys, and go every where you do. A home where he is not left alone will be best,  and a doggie buddy or two who are not to big  (he is afraid of large dogs) He is the best snuggle you will ever going to find.He loves his belly rub's and will offer it up to one and all . We are looking for a kind, loving, and stable home where Frankie never again will be mistreated, or left alone.   Frankies's story is a rescuer's worst nightmare,,,, and a rescuer's best hope. For he was damaged by one human and a whole darn village picked him up and lovingly repaired him. Frankie has restored my faith in humankind . He never lost his...... Good Boy! Good Dog


Frankie is being fostered in Grass Valley, Ca. Know that we will be very picky about who will be trusted with the rest of Frankie's life. Nothing bad can ever happen to him again.

10/31/12 update: Frankie has completed his jaw reconstruction surgery.  He is doing great, and he will be able to eat normally in about 4 months (only soft for now) and play with his beloved squeaky toys.
