Clarissa was in a temporary foster home, and this is what her foster mom has to say about her:
"Clarissa is a sweet, gentle girl who spent some time at my home during and after Hurricane Sandy.  She was a bit nervous upon arrival but immediately took a nap on her bed across the room from me. With every passing hour she crept closer and closer to me, until she was snoozing comfortably in my lap.  In the days that followed she and I became very attached, during the day she would follow me around like a little shadow and at night she would sleep right next my pillow.  Clarissa is house-trained and when I went out during the day, she happily went into her crate and never barked, even went left alone for extended periods. She has excellent leash manners and is very easily corrected on those rare occasions she steps out of line.  While she seems uncomfortable around other dogs at LHS, we did go on a few walks with another female dog – continuing these could help her tremendously. I fell in love with her quickly and know you will too!"
