Meet 12-619 "Hope"

Hope, case #12-619
Two and a half years ago a timid puppy came to the shelter as a stray; she was confused & afraid… She was given her name because we knew there was “Hope” that she would be noticed and find a home right away. Always calm in her kennel with the cutest ears and smile, she was passed by time and time again. Hope blossomed and let her fun loving laidback personality shine! Appreciating the little things in life, she absolutely loves to go for walks and is very polite on leash! Although she loves her walks, she is a diva and will not walk the trail in the rain without a raincoat. ♥ During the spring/summer months you will find her peacefully sun bathing in one of the yards. In the colder months it makes her happy to have a warm blanket and bone to return to.

Hope also loves to spend her time in the yards with some of her friends running the agility “A” frame and frolicking happily around. :) She does sometimes get a little extra excited and jumpy so she would do best in a home with older children. She obeys basic commands and loves showing off for cookies. Hope is on a routine at the shelter and keeps her cage clean. This would lead us to believe that house breaking would be a breeze. :)

This amazing girl has been patiently waiting for someone to notice how wonderful she is and give her the forever home she truly deserves!

Also thanks to Shelter Link for putting the spotlight on Hope!
This stunning girl is Hope. Hope should have been adopted a long time ago but still finds herself waiting at the shelter for the right family to come and find her. Black dogs are often the most overlooked dogs in shelters and here it is again. Hope is a lovely affectionate girl, playful, active and very intelligent. She has been working on her obedience commands and is a star in her classes at the shelter. Please open your heart to this sweet girl and come to the shelter and meet Hope.
