 Richard is a calm and laid-back dog. He gets along well with other medium to larger  dogs but his curuiosity and prey drive  are too high to consider him small animal compatible. 

Poor Richard is a bit mottly looking.  He has the potential to clean up well, but at present he's under-weight and has a thin coat which makes all of his scars visible. We had his thyroid levels checked and found that he was quite low so he now takes thyroid medication. It's very inexpensive and easy to give.

Nov Update: Richard has attended two Meet & Greets and he does well greeting people.  He is however, quite animated with all of the little caged critters he sees - cats, hamsters, ferrets, etc  Watching Richard's curiosity is delightful - his ears are very entertaining and can turn and bend in all directions!  LOL!
