Annie German Shepherd Dog Chilliwack, BC

Annie is a bit of a chub at the moment and weighs in at a whopping 88lbs! She need to trim up and should come down to a more reasonable 70-75lbs. We have her on a low calorie diet, of the grain free variety, to help get her weight down.


The condition of her ears was terrible when she came to us and we are slowly, but surely getting the ear infections cleared up. Her hearing has been compromised by years of untreated ear infections, but she does understand some hand signals. She is particularily smart and obedient if she thinks there may be a cookie in it for her, the cheeky monkey!


Annie has an undercarriage that proves that she has been a breeding dog for most of her life. She is looking to make the second chapter of her life be one of comfort and companionship. Annie is approx. 5 or 6 years old and has all of the upside of that age - lower exercise requirements, housetrained, playful but not a rodeo and she walks well on leash.


She is submissive and sweet, but gets herself in a tizzy when she meets other dogs. A no dog home would be best for this girl and one that does not expect to spend time at off leash dog parks. All those dogs bounding around making their own decisions would put this girl into fits!
