Hi, My name is: Pearl


I am a: female Husky/Dachshund mix


I weigh: about 3 lbs.


I am a baby my birthday is 7/22/2012


My Adoption Fee is: $300.00 I will be adopted out on an altering contract, so that I can get bigger. When I am a bit bigger you will take me to my vet and they will alter me. I am also micro-chipped, and will get all my vaccines including bordetella and rabies  as part of my adoption fee.


My History:  I was born in rescue. My mother was rescued from a foreclosed home where she and her litter mates had been left.  Since I was in foster care when I was born, I have had a great little life so far, My foster mama has taken care of me and my litter-mates quite well and our mama did an excellent job taking care of us.


My Health: I am a healthy happy puppy, with no known health issues at this time. I had my first DA2PP in Sept.  my  second on 9/7/2012 and my 3rd vaccine is due the end of the month. 


About me and what I need: I am a puppy that will grow to about the size of a Corgi, maybe a bit bigger. You should know about both of my breeds to understand my personality and the amount of exercise I will need. I will be an extremely smart dog and will love to have a family that can keep me active and entertained. I do love a good snuggle and like a doxie will appreciate my human, but like a husky I will be independent if you don't keep me close.


The best home for me: is one that has the time and energy for an active puppy. I need a home that can potty train me and socialize me with people and other dogs. I am going to need a fenced yard as I am going to need a moderate amount of exercise because of my breed. Also if I am going to be an only dog, I need lots of mental stimuli or I will get bored and do bad doggy things. I am super sweet and will make any one a great companion for many, many years.

We are an all volunteer organization and dedicate all our free hours to our dogs and finding a good match for you. All our dogs are in foster homes so if you would like to meet in person, an approved application must be on file.
