Blue is a 2-year-old female pit bull mix rescued from the NYACC after her previous owners left her there citing "landlord" as the reason. I would have just moved! This girl is too sweet and too well behaved not to be someone's beloved companion. Plus, she's absolutely gorgeous! Blue had a very rough time at the shelter and it shows through her ribs and spine poking out of her too-thin body and her tail that stays slightly tucked when she's out of her comfort zone. Despite it all, she really is as sweet as can be; she loves all people and can't seem to get enough cuddles! Blue's energy is just starting to pick up now that she's eating well and putting on weight, but she's still a relatively mellow girl. She walks beautifully on a leash... until she sees another dog. This is Blue's one drawback, and she will need to be the only dog in your home. She's good with cats in the house and won't chase them, but on leash is another story so she should not be left alone all day unsupervised with cats but is fine with a little monitoring. So in conclusion, if you don't already have any canine furbabies and are looking for an absolutely sweet, loving, loyal, easy, and obedient dog, Blue is your girl!

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Adoption fee applies.
