It is so sad to see the lost and confused expressions of the senior dogs that come into the shelter. Pierre is around 9 years old and was found as a stray. This lab/shepherd mix just doesn’t know what to make of his new situation and is seems very sad. He is quiet and was very easy to walk on the leash. If you know who owns this dog please tell his people to come get him. Or if you have a place in your heart and home for a nice guy who is done with all that silly puppy stuff, and just wants to be with you, then please come see Pierre. The shelter is no place for him to spend his ‘golden’ years. Special note: Special note: Anyone 60year or older can now adopt a pet for free through the new Pets for Seniors Adoption Program!
