Arrival story:  Cookie was spotted at a high-kill shelter in Miami, Florida, by a wonderful gentleman.  He rescued her in the nick of time and brought her back here to Michigan.  She's one lucky gal!


 


Personality:  Sweet Cookie is such a good girl!  We believe she knows she's now safe by the way she's enjoying life!  This beauty loves to go on walks and enjoys playing with other dogs. She even likes to swim, like an otter!  cookie even gets to go to 4-Legged Friends Doggy Daycare to play with her pals.  She's house-trained, crate-trained, and she has very good house manners.    


Did you notice her adorable ears?  She loves ear rubs and then groans with delight and snuggles right into you for more.  Her signature color is pink and she enjoys dressing up!  She also loves to cuddle into your lap.


Forever home:  We think Cookie would do well in many situations, but a home without young children would suit her best.  If you're a walker/jogger looking for an exercise buddy, Cookie may be the one for you.  Even though she is grateful and loves her foster dad, she's ready to start her life in her forever home.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information:


Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs (9 years +) , $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.


Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue does not have a shelter facility. All of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website at www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted. This application does not imply an obligation to adopt by the applicant or by the rescue group.


 


Our volunteers have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries are the quickest way to obtain information about a dog.
