Penny Chihuahua St. George, UT

Penny is one of the most well behaved Chihuahua's I have ever met! She is tiny weighing in at 7 pounds, and she is adorable. Penny is about 2 years old and she is very shy. We have had her here in our home for 4 days now and I still have not heard her bark once! She is great with other dogs and well behaved children. She loves to snuggle and be with her people and she would prefer a home with another dog and with someone who is home most of the time. 


Penny is doing great with her potty training, but she is not 100% potty trained yet. She will need a patient person to be consistent with her and teach her where she should go potty.


Sweet Penny has been spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, had a dental and she is in great health. BUT, we just found out that she is blind in her left eye. It doesn't seem to cause her any trouble, she act's like a normal dog. The vet said she has a cataract in that eye. We had her tested for glaucoma just to make sure that she does not have it. And she doesn't! So that is good news. She will need to have her eye looked at each year at her regular yearly vet visit, but other than that, she does not need any special care.
