Baxter is a purebred Tibetan spaniel who was given up by his owner as she had too many animals. He is 7-8 years old and weighs 24 pounds. Baxter has the sweetest temperament--he just loves people and wants to get petted and give kisses.He has lived with many other dogs and gets along with them--but cats, now that's another story. He would be dangerous to cats and cannot live with them. Baxter will do fine with older, respectful children aged 10 and above. This sweetheart of a dog will do best with someone who is home much of the time as he had to share attention with lots of other dogs. Baxter is house trained and crate trained but he has good manners and doesn't need to be crated. Baxter is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His adoption fee is $250.00. He is neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention, up to date on all shots, worming, and has a HomeAgain microchip.

To ensure that this dog thrives in his new home and that the adoption works out for the dog and your family, these are the requirements for adoption. These criteria are not negotiable. If you do not meet these criteria, please choose another dog that will work out better for your family.
