Pippa is a darling German Shepherd who was rescued with her mother and litter mates from a high kill East Los Angeles shelter in early September 2012.  The puppies were only one day old.  Such terrible starts make for a lot of dramas while trying to grow up.  Pippa was the smallest of the litter and didn't seem to be nursing as well as the other puppies, but she hung in there.
She is now a healthy and spunky puppy - you would never know she had such a rough start!  Pippa is a sweet, headstrong, typical German Shepherd girl and will push the limits as far as possible, scanning the kitchen counters, playing with things she shouldn't and roughhousing with her sisters. She's very smart and will do best in a home with experience with the breed - she's a dog of a lifetime!
