Janis Chihuahua Mentor, OH

Say hello to little Janis.  Janis is approximately 4-5 years old.  She came into rescue from the Shelby, Ohio raid.   Janis was in such bad shape that she needed to be seen by our vet as soon as she arrived.  Her weight when she arrived was only 3 pounds 6 ½ ounces.  Now, a few weeks later, her weight has increased she now weighs 4 ½ lbs.  Her appetite is very healthy, and she has the cutest, raspy little bark, which she uses when she wants to be held.  She loves being held by her foster grandmamma, and alternates napping, looking around, and checking things out.  She had extensive loss of hair, probably due to flea infestation; but as her hair grows back in, Janis will be a beautiful white and gray longhaired Chihuahua. Janis will need a very special home, due to her very petite size and probable hearing deficit; but she will definitely make you smile every day with her cute little antics.
