Bear - URGENT - No Shelter, Please!! Alaskan Malamute Grass Valley, CA

Update: Bear's status is now URGENT!! We have 44 days (today is 9/6) to find him a new home. Please cross post if you can.


This beautiful boy is extremely affectionate, loves people and loves care rides. Bear is about 7 years old and weighs 120 lbs. He is healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on heart worm prevention. He likes being indoors as well as out.


Bear is ok with adults but a bit skittish around small children, so he would do best in a home with adults or older kids. He does not do well with other dogs unless he has a very experienced owner and should be fed separately due to some food aggression. He also should not be around cats or other small critters. Bear is house trained and leash trained.


His current people have to move and cannot take Bear, and his companion Dusty, with them. If they could be adopted together, that would be great, but different homes would be ok, too.
