ARNIE ADOPTED!!! Boston Terrier Redmond, WA

ARNIE is a 9 year old 25 pound male Boston.  He came into rescue because his owner could not keep him at his home.  He gets along well with some dogs and loves people, especially men.

 

Arnie is not crate trained.  He is mostly housetrained to a dog door and may need a refresher period.  He is confident and playful and he seems to know "wait", "sit" and "go lay down".  He is affectionate and loves to cuddle.  His favorite things to do are to play ball, go for car rides, cuddle and go for walks.

 
Arnie does have cataracts in both eyes.  He sees pretty well and needs two eye drops daily.  The drops will cost about $100 for 2 months. Arnie also has allergies.  They are pretty much under control with antihistamines.   He is up to date on his shots and is micro chipped.

 

Arnie is looking for a home to live out his days.  That home would have someone willing to take on his eye care.  They would be patient, be willing to include Arnie in their family activities, take him for walks, and take him to an obedience class to refresh his skills. It would be a home where someone would be home part of the day or able to come home for lunch.

Adoptions are NOT done on a first-come basis - rather we match each dog's temperament with that of a prospective new adopter as well as the adopter's pets /family situation to help insure more successful adoptions of rescue dogs. Home visit evaluations and reference checks will be required.

Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue (SPDR) is a non-profit 501C3 non-profit charity organization that is run completely on donations. Your donations provide funding for rescued dogs' medical expenses such as health checks, neuter/spay surgeries, worming, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees and possibly training.
