Meet Sampson

Sampson is a very sweet dog that is wondering how in the heck he ended up in rescue. He must have been with the same person all his life, because he is totally displaced in his new foster home. This big lovable hound is a dear sweet soul that gets along/puts-up with, his clowish housemates. However he would be better satisfied as the only dog or perhaps the second dog in the household. Sampson was clearly loved in his last home however they let his weight become a serious issue because of his little crooked legs. His foster mom says it must have been those big brown eyes he has; that are perfect for begging! He can easily wear you down with just one look. And is this guy ever the cuddlier!!!? Simply loves to be in your lap while watching a movie or his favorite, Cesar's Way!

Sampson's new family will have to be diligent with his diet so that his pain can be managed and his life quality is the best, because that is what he deserves. He is such a good boy and will return double all the love he gets. Sampson is housetrained, loves car rides and is good for short walks. His favorite walk is through the pet stores where is a total gentleman. Please call or email BaRCSE today to inquire about this amazing dog!!! He needs a special family of his very own!!!

As an update, his foster mom reports that he has become quite the rotten!  He will fuss and bark at his foster brother for "stealing" his spot on the sofa.  But he sure has settled down.  Guess he just had to get used to a routine.  All and all he is a great dog and seems so happy now.  He and Thea will play and he runs around the living room with all his little legs going in different directions!  Kinda reminds his foster mom of an iguana!  She’s getting those nails under control, and his ears are better. He needs just a few more pounds off and hopefully only an aspirin a day and something stronger on cold or wet days. He just seems more happy and comfortable, sorta like he is proud to be in better shape.
