Happy, is one of the most joyful, happy dogs we've met! With a pure zest and love of life, he is really the all-time people greeter! Happy  Happy is a great mix of a people dog and an athlete! This boy is great with people, loves to meet new friends - both human and dog and excells at about everything he's taught... But most of all, he loves to work (play).... obedience work, swimming, he's a pro at /retrieving and we've found that Happy also excels at DOCK DIVING!  On his first try, he landed out 6 feet! What fun!! He's a fun dog to have around - he really enjoys being in your company! And when he's involved in his work (play),  his joy is infectious- Happy is currently being fostered with a trainer where he has the benefit of learning both obedience and performance dog sports! He's been a great student too - he's got some basic obedience...

He's been a great student too - he's got some basic obedience commands already mastered - with stellar watch me's, and solid sits!, downs and waits!  Learning to be crate trained, he's surprised us all with his wonderful personality during his foster and training camp. His foster trainer reports that he has the nicest temperament. And this boy, with his gorgeous, unusual coat, is alot of fun to watch as he learns new things too!  He'll follow your lead with about anything, trusting you to lead him right! ". He's a small compact size, with short legs at 44 pounds and a soft, sensitive spirit.

During his first competitions at dock diving, he not only jumped out of the beginner category entirely to the next level, he scored some ribbons in the Junior category!  Hoo Boy, did Happy have a great time! He took home 3 second place ribbons (one for each wave. Jumping, 8.4, 10.6 and finally 12 feet in official competition. We had him hitting over 14 feet during practice. During his finals competition, he won 3 first place ribbons! He'll be attending Nationals Competition in Folsom, November 10 and 11! Our little imp of a dog is a champion and an audience pleaser! We all knew it, but now he has the ribbons to prove it!

Happy also qualifies for Prizes for Pitties where a qualified adopter will also receive an additional $50 adoption grant, a training book by Patricia McConnell and a kong toy for his crate training!
