Rock American Bulldog & Boxer Mix Fort Worth, TX

Hi! My name is Rock, short for Rocky. I’m approximately 1.5 years old and about 50lbs. I was found roaming the streets of the Heights when I stumbled upon a nice family’s doorstep.  Unfortunately they couldn’t foster me so they took me to BARC while they continued to search for my forever home. I was there for 6 weeks until the put me on the EBI list. Luckily, a family agreed to foster me and Buster’s Friends accepted me into their rescue program!

I’m currently living in Richmond, Texas with my foster family, and boy does this beat life on the streets! My foster mom calls me her little shadow because I like to stay close to her. I’m very sweet and mellow, although I have been known to have playful spurts of energy. I’m very food motivated, because I love to eat. You would, too, if you spent the first part of your life on the streets! I’m 90% house-trained and am doing much better in a kennel. I’ve also been studying up on obedience and leash training.

I LOVE my foster, pitbull sister and would do well in a house with another mellow dog like me. I haven’t been tested with cats, but given my mellow personality I think I could learn to like them. I’ve been very well behaved around the few kids that I have met. Are you looking for a good boy to add to your family? I just might be the perfect match! Will you be my forever family?

Rock is around 1.5yrs old and about 50lbs. Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

*Dogs are available the 2nd Saturday of every month from 11am-3pm.

*Dogs are available the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-3pm.
