I really need a home. I'm so lonely.
 
My name is Sydney and I'm one special girl full of love, loyalty and playfulness.  I'm about 6 years old and 45 pounds of pure love. I'm a beautiful Collier/Terrier with a touch of German Shepard looks and intelligence mixed in to make me one smart, loyal and active companion.
 
I am great with kids and very playful. I love to play fetch, tug-of-war, keep away and many other doggie/people games. I also like to watch dog shows on TV like the Buddies & Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I love swimming and walks and runs. I also love to cuddle and sleep on the bed with my fosters, but when I want to be alone, I go lay in another room or my kennel.
 
I am extremely smart,  house and kennel trained and will ring bells to let you know I need to go outside. I know many other tricks and am eager to learn more. I like going for car...

I am very sociable, the best people and family dog that you could ever hope for, but I am used to being an only dog and would do best in a home without other animals. That's okay because we have so many games to play, places to go and things to do.
 
If you are looking for someone who runs to the door and brings you presents because they are  so happy to see you, and someone who will go anywhere, anytime just to be with you, come see me. I'm your girl.
 
I would love an active family and a fenced yard to run around in and someone who likes walks and rides as much as me.
 
If you can't adopt right now, how about fostering me. I have to stay in a kennel now,and even though it's fine, I sure do miss a home and family.

Adoption Info
The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

*Note: on site adoptions are available to pre-approved adopters only.*

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!
