Meet FERDINAND

Ferdinand is a loyal, lovable, and gentle three year old male Bluenose Pit with beautiful blue-gray coloring with white markings and spectacular hazel eyes. He is the sweetest and happiest pit boy even though he has had a tough life up until his rescue (see his video for part of his story). He walks very nicely on a leash and does not pull or move too far from your side. Ferdinand loves to stop and sniff the flowers on his walks and really enjoys rolling on his back in the grass. He takes treats very, very gently and will happily be your lap dog if you let him. He weighs approximately 60 pounds and is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He seems to be okay with other dogs and didn't react negatively when he met a cat at the vet where he is boarded but a meet & greet is required for Ferdinand with any existing pets prior to adoption. His is the favorite of the kennel workers at the vet and is working his hazel eyes for those extra treats from his new friends. For more information on Ferdinand, please email IndyRescueLV.com
