Are you a positive thinker? I am one of those dogs that see the glass half full. I’m optimistic but it sure is getting harder and harder.

I am BABY – sweet, gorgeous Baby. Watch my video and you will drool over my good looks and personality. I have never ever had a home to call my own. I was chained outside a home for a while and then was thankfully rescued by a nice person. The last 18 months I have lived at Man’s Best Friend waiting ever so patiently for my person(s) to come for me. Judy (my foster mom) at Man’s Best Friend has been fabulous to me. I am able to play with dogs every day and gets lots of lovin’ from the staff but it is still not a home

I know what it is like to have a home. I experienced it for one day and a sleep over. It was glorious! I took to home living just like a duck takes to water. A volunteer took me home to check out my home manners and I passed with flying colors. It started out by riding in the car and I love car rides. The home had a backyard where I could run around and play but the best part was being inside the home. Awwww – it was so relaxing just hanging out with the volunteer. We cuddled a lot and watched TV together. Wherever she went, I followed. I didn’t bother her. I just wanted to be in the same room as she was and would lie down in whatever room she was in.

My two passions are people that are 14 and older and dogs. But, I can be the only dog too. I simply ADORE people (men and women equally). I don’t think I’m asking for much. I ask myself why I don’t have a family to call my own. I am fun and playful. I am sweet and cuddly. I have excellent manners. So, what gives?

I will keep looking at that glass as being half full but the glass is looking a bit empty at the moment. I am a patient dog but I think about the time we are wasting not being a family. It makes me sad. We need one another, don’t you think? I certainly do.
