This little corgi is really quite sweet despite her appearances. We are not sure how she was injured but despite what she has been through she remains a happy dog. Lillie came to CCK from a breeding facility. She is now learning to be a pet. While she is somewhat on the shy side, she is getting the cuddling thing down well. She's still working on her house manners and obedience. Lillie does ok with other dogs, but like any female corgi and sometimes those from breeding facilities she can be a bit grouch when it comes to her food. She does not like to be bothered when she's eating. She is on an eating schedule however, getting her meals twice a day, so food is not left out for her. Lillie's right eye has been removed and healed up nicely from whenever that happened. She is missing a part of her right ear. She also has a broken maxilla. However 2 veterinarians have looked at her and neither recommend surgery as it would be ...

However 2 veterinarians have looked at her and neither recommend surgery as it would be very extensive and it does not affect her eating, drinking or breathing and most importantly is not causing her pain. Lillie had dental work done and several teeth were pulled. However she is able to eat regular food. While it may sound like she has a lot of problems; most of them are in the past or have been dealt with. As far as we know Lillie is a healthy girl now. She has been spayed, updated on vaccinations, heart-worm tested (neg), micro-chipped and now her mouth is healthy again. Lillie is about 6 years old from what we were told. Lillie is available for immediate adoption. Her adoption fee is $275 which will help defray but not cover the costs for her medical care.
